Meet the Team

Sydney Kids OT is owned and directed by experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist Cara Adler. With over 20 years of experience in Sydney and the UK, Cara has worked both with children and provided expert training and mentoring to OT’s throughout her career. Sydney Kids OT team is fully qualified to provide assessment and treatment for children aged 2-18 years. We work with children with a variety of motor, sensory and learning difficulties to enhance a child’s skills, behaviour, confidence and self-esteem.

Michaela Levy – Senior Occupational Therapist

Michaela graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from the Australian Catholic University (ACU). After embarking on a transformative gap year in 2019, she found her calling at Sydney Kids OT in June 2020 and hasn’t looked back since! Michaela is highly passionate about empowering children to help them reach their social, emotional, physical & sensory goals. Michaela is deeply committed to fostering self-confidence in children. She finds immense joy in guiding them towards greater self-assurance, empowering them to believe in their abilities and embrace their unique strengths. Seeing the transformation in their confidence levels is one of the most rewarding aspects of her work. With a wealth of experience spanning various age groups, Michaela thrives on the excitement of managing a diverse caseload. Known for her vibrant energy and positive demeanour, Michaela approaches her work with enthusiasm and motivation, creating a dynamic and enjoyable atmosphere for her clients. When Michaela is not working, she loves to play beach volleyball, stay active outdoors & travel.

Louise Galligan  – Occupational Therapist

Louise Galligan is a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist who is passionate about helping children develop the skills, confidence and independence they need to flourish in everyday life.

Louise holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Limerick in Ireland and brings experience working across private practice, schools, community settings and multidisciplinary teams in both Ireland and Australia. Her broad experience enables her to take a flexible, holistic approach that is tailored to the unique strengths and needs of each child and family.

Louise is committed to providing neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based care and believes that every child deserves to feel valued, understood and empowered to reach their full potential. She works closely with families to create engaging, meaningful and practical therapy experiences that support children in the environments that matter most to them.

Veronica Rowe  – Occupational Therapist

Veronica Rowe is a warm, creative and thoughtful Occupational Therapist who is passionate about helping children build confidence, develop meaningful skills and thrive in their everyday lives.

With several years of experience working with children and families, Veronica takes a holistic, person-centred approach to therapy. She believes that every child is unique and works closely with families to create a supportive environment where children feel safe, understood and empowered to achieve goals that matter most to them.

Veronica is committed to building strong relationships with both children and their caregivers, ensuring that therapy is engaging, practical and tailored to each child’s individual strengths and needs.
